| 0 | 0 | | | Tuburan is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines. Founded in 1851 by Don Mariano Montebon the townsite was first located at Daanlungsod which is just across the Adela River, north of Poblacion. Tuburan got its name from the abundance of "Tubod" or springs in the area which are the sources of potable water for household use of early settlers.
Among the popular sites in Tuburan are Molobol Spring, Mantawihan Spring, Little Bauio and Friendship Beaches, Marmol Cave, Lantawan Look-out and Daan Lungsod Beach. The municipality's main products are sugarcane, coconut, rice, vegetable products, corn and coconut.
